Privacy Policy

Your Privacy Matters

Printora is designed with privacy at its core. We believe your photos are personal, and we've built our app to ensure they stay that way.

Data We Don't Collect

Your photos never leave your device. All photo processing, including face detection and layout generation, happens locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device Vision Framework. We have no access to your photos.

Data We May Collect

  • Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics to improve the app (e.g., which features are used most). This data cannot identify you personally.
  • Crash reports: Technical information when the app crashes, to help us fix bugs.
  • Purchase information: If you subscribe to Printora Premium, Apple handles all payment processing. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases
  • RevenueCat: For subscription management (processes purchase receipts, not personal data)

Photo Library Access

Printora requires access to your photo library to function. This access is:

  • Used only to display and process photos you select
  • Never used to upload photos to any server
  • Revocable at any time in iOS Settings

Face Detection

Printora uses Apple's Vision framework to detect faces in your photos for the sole purpose of counting the number of people in each photo. This count is used to automatically determine the optimal print layout on A4 paper.

  • What is read: A confidence score per detected face and the resulting count of faces above the detection threshold. No face images, facial geometry, or identity information is extracted.
  • On-device only: All face detection is performed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. No face data — or any data derived from it — is transmitted to any server or shared with any third party.
  • No identification: The app does not identify who is in your photos. It only counts how many people are present.
  • Retention: The detected face count is stored locally on your device as part of your project data. It is deleted when you delete the project. The app has no backend server and performs no cloud sync.

Data Storage

Your layout projects are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data stays on your device and is not synced to any cloud service.

Children's Privacy

Printora does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is designed to be family-friendly and does not require account creation.
